GENERAL FUNCTION

The Luxottica Summer Internship Program is a 10-week immersion into Luxottica and its brands. It’s a project-based internship where you will have the opportunity to learn, collaborate, and contribute to business success by working on priority projects. At Luxottica, we love what we do! The EyeMed Sales Internship Program consists of three, 3-week rotational assignments. The rotations occur within the sales, sales support, and account management teams of the small and mid-market business segment. There is potential for a full-time job opportunity following successful completion of the Internship Program and college graduation.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Learn what it’s like to be an EyeMed Sales Rep:
    • Participate in a finalist presentation project. This will include researching a mock RFP, creating a recommendation to the broker, understanding the EyeMed Network, and presenting the EyeMed story.
    • Participate in Sales Assignments such as qualifying broker and direct prospects for sales reps, obtaining and updating broker contacts, researching clients and tailoring RFP responses, following up on marketing campaigns.
  • Learn what it’s like to be in EyeMed Sales Support:
    • Participate in assignments such as creating proposals for RFP’s, submitting (please use the apply button below) updates, submitting membership information to brokers.
  • Learn what it’s like to be an EyeMed Account Management Rep:
    • Participate in assignments such as assisting in invoice requests, processing (please use the apply button below) updates, training brokers/clients on EyeMed web portal, placing follow up calls to clients.
  • Sales and Account Management Intern Training to include the following topics and more:
    • Luxottica and EyeMed Onboarding
    • Sales scripting
    • com
    • Marketing campaign familiarity
    • Sales and Account Management processes

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in sales, marketing, or related major
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Excellent communication skills (written/verbal) and ability to embrace change
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Product Suite
  • Comfort managing telephonic relationships
  • Geographic mobility if offered a full-time opportunity

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous internship or work experience in sales, sales support, marketing, or customer support role
  • Leadership roles on campus and/ or community involvement
  • Rising junior or senior
