Priority business needs for Ulta Beauty which the Manager, Integrated Marketing will support

include developing and executing cross-category marketing strategies, campaigns and initiatives.  Partnering closely with business leads and cross functional teams, this position with ensure consistent strategy, insight and messaging will be leveraged across marketing efforts in order to create cohesive and synergy that drives results. 

The Manager, Integrated Marketing must be proficient at strategy development, brand building and critical thinking with a passion for beauty and an aptitude for retail. Ability to manage through ambiguity is essential. 

The Manager, Integrated Marketing will manage 1 direct report.  


  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing plans for cross-category strategic   initiatives and campaigns throughout the year (i.e. marketing lead for Emerging Brands: SPARKED at Ulta Beauty(c)). 
  • Partner closely with merchandising team and key brand partners provide cross-functional marketing support for key brands and launches each quarter.
    •  Drive collaboration of internal and external resources to develop solid marketing campaigns.
    • Collaborate closely with strategy, social, creative services, legal and other key stakeholder groups to ensure clear and concise execution of marketing plans/strategies.
  • Develop communication to ensure understanding and effectiveness of marketing programs.
  • Maintain knowledge of retail, capabilities, customer needs, internal operations processes and competitive landscape.
  • Travel may be required (<10% of time).



  • 6+ years direct marketing to consumer experience required.
  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) marketing experience preferred.  
  • Excellent leadership skills - including team leadership, thought leadership, problem solving, collaboration.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, including the development of creative briefs and project plans.
  • Strong cross-functional management and project management skills & experience.
  • Strong experience in developing and executing strategic plans and marketing plans.
  • Solid experience managing through ambiguity to shape, elevate and move planning forward.
  • Solid background/skills in analytics and data driven business planning.
  • Solid background in consumer insight and consumer insight driven business planning.
  • Demonstrated creativity and creative management, including strong demonstrated experience in leading creative work and agency partnerships.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills, both written and oral.
  • Passion for business/the work and a constant learner.
