The great things you’ll do

  • External Communications - Client facing: Support regional Food at client program communications to achieve program goals (both from the marketing team and in support of initiatives driven by other departments) and maintain user satisfaction and trust. Steward verbal ID and program personality by protecting the program’s authentic voice. Propose and implement innovative approaches to strategic communication. 

  • Internal Communications - Sector/Compass-facing: Coordinate and manage internal communication activities and channels at all Compass sites in the region. Support both Food at client and Compass in executing internal (vendor partner facing) campaigns to engage team members in program and organizational values and priorities.

  • Content development: Contribute towards the development of dynamic, diverse communications content to be deployed across channels. Research, develop, activate and manage Food program related conversations within the client environment that specifically encourage positive participation of the Food at client program and is consistent with/reinforces the Food at client  brand. 

  • Brand ambassador: Create and coordinate internal and local communication efforts that support initiatives and campaigns both locally and globally. Supports the Brand, Visual Identity and voice on a local level. Write, edit and produce content (online, design collateral, etc.). Review and edit essential communications prior to dissemination to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.

  • Innovative messaging: Drive the development of new content and experiment with ‘outside-the-box’ delivery channels for communication. Strive to continuously improve scale, reach, quality and impact of the initiatives in order to better reach our audience and improve engagement.

  • Stakeholder relationship management: Build and maintain core relationships with local stakeholders (Client Sector and local community). Work with local Food program stakeholders to develop communication plans and peak user-experiences for special programs and products.


What we look for in the perfect candidate

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or business

  • Four to five years of experience in a related marketing, communications, internal communications or PR job

  • Retail, restaurant or food service experience a plus

  • Excellent verbal, written communication, editing, proofreading, and grammar skills.

  • Excellent organization and follow-through

  • Ability to work autonomously, with little supervision, while understanding and respecting approval channels and brand voice

  • Excellent hospitality and customer service skills

  • Thoughtful and objective

  • Experience of using process and planning to deliver consistent results to expectations

  • Ability to quickly gain credibility with local key stakeholder groups

  • An approach to cooperation and collaboration that supports organizational goals

  • Track record of effectively managing and delivering against multiple projects simultaneously in a very fast-moving environment

  • Distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with impeccable business judgment


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting a multi-site operational business model

  • Experience supporting both internal (operations-focused) and external (guest/customer-focused) communications

To support our growth, we’re looking for a Marketing (MCE) Manager.

The Marketing(MCE) Manager reports directly to the Regional Marketing Manager and works closely with the broader Marketing, Communications, and Engagement team to help deliver on regional communications priorities ranging from creating and deploying communications to inform users of new cafes to managing information flow to team members across Food program operations. 
The Marketing (MCE) Manager is a champion, guardian, advocate and ambassador of the Food brand. The major responsibility of the role is to add value to the guest and employee experience via communication plans, creative deliverables and strategic thought supported by an innovative approach and excellent communication skills.
