SUMMARY:   Prepares for the position of Salesperson in order to provide the sales and marketing area of the company with individuals who are well trained in all aspects of Helena s business.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

 

Makes calls on customers with branch managers or when directed by the branch managers.

 

Demonstrates products and provides essential information, i.e., product price, new developments, and market trends.

 

Answers customer questions concerning product pricing, credit terms, and performance.

 

Completes sales forms with required sales information.

 

Remains familiar with the company credit policy as related to sales.

 

Becomes familiar with warehouse procedures and product delivery.

 

Participates in the formal training as determined by division manager.

 

Other work related duties as assigned by supervisor.

 

Reliable and regular attendance is expected.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:   Bachelor s degree from a four-year college or university with agricultural related experience or training.

 

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

 

Excellent communication skills.

 

Valid driver s license.
