Tasting Room / Wine Marketing & Sales Manager
Walla Walla Community College (WWCC) is accepting applications to fill a full-time Tasting Room / Wine Marketing & Sales Manager position on the Walla Walla campus. This position is responsible for managing the College Cellars tasting room operations, training and supervision of the student staff, sales operations, and for the marketing of College Cellars. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field; professional experience may substitute for education requirement at the discretion of the College. Must be a least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license. Annual salary range: $55,000 - $60,000. This position will remain open until filled.
Essential Functions:
- Recruit, train, and supervise tasting room staff to ensure a quality learning experience for students and excellent customer service for winery guests.
- Responsible for all sales including direct to consumer (DTC), wholesale and distributor accounts, managing the existing accounts and developing new accounts.
- Manage, promote and grow the wine club. Make selections for semiannual allocations and develop all marketing materials.
- Maintain the tasting room spaces and manage the dry goods inventory.
- Plan, organize and participate in events that promote College Cellars and WWCC and enhance relationships with customers and the Walla Walla wine industry.
- Manage and count the College Cellars wine inventory.
- Manage the marketing and promotion of College Cellars and the EV program including digital platforms developing new content and monitoring feedback posted to customer engagement sites.
- Ensure all websites and listings are accurate and up-to-date.
- May include instructional assignments depending upon departmental needs and experience.
