What you’ll be doing...

Responsibilities

As the Manager of Marketing Communications and Operations, this postion will be responsible for the strategy and design of our communications within the Consumer Markets organization. This person will also analyze viewership of existing communication methods and develop unique ways to engage and motivate our internal audiences through communications.

  • Establish an internal communications strategy

  • Introduce new methods of communication designed to engage, motivate and inform employees.

  • Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are effectively and successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders

  • Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communication mediums

  • Solicit and analyse feedback and adjust communications content accordingly

  • Create and design communication plans for projects and programs to drive adoption and improve effectiveness.

  • Create digital, video and print communications

  • Create Go-to-Market communication campaigns/strategies for project/program/product launches.

  • Create digital and email communications for all channels within Consumer Markets for daily, weekly, monthly and priority communications.

  • Lead assigned national projects for the Consumer Markets internal Call Centers supporting employee engagement/performance.

  • Identify opportunities based on feedback and develop plans to improve employee engagement/sales culture in each center through effective communication strategies.

  • Responsible for creating executive presentations.

What we’re looking for...

Qualifications

Must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or Journalism or equivalent work experience.

  • Proven ability to create effective short- and long-term strategies

  • Expert in engaging employees through various means of communication.

  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills as well as the journalistic ability to source stories from employees.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Exceptional skills with MS PowerPoint and Word.

  • Exceptional verbal communication skills.

  • Advanced Graphic Design skills including use of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom.

  • Strategic and analytical ability; skilled at collecting and analyzing data to make appropriate process/business decisions/recommendations.

  • Three or more years of project development and/or management experience.

  • Self-starter that learns and adapts quickly to new systems, software and hardware

  • Excellent organization and time-management skills.

  • Results oriented, strong sense of urgency, proactive and flexible.

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

  • Proven ability to lead multi-functional program/project teams.

  • Strong knowledge of Call Center environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to deal with conflict and bring about resolution.

Relevant Experience:

Experience on an internal communications team, for a large organization, is most sought after. Experience with writing for a variety of different audiences is desired. General journalistic or marketing experience is beneficial. Prior management of complex projects is preferred.
