Project Overview:

The Entertainment Sales team at Google works with major Film & TV clients to help them advertise on Google / YouTube - from managing their campaigns and digital strategy to reporting back on the impact of their advertising. The Sales Analysts work to provide data, analysis and insights to the sales teams to help power their presentations, pitches & reports.

Overall Responsibilities:

Provide customized insights to Entertainment customers that inform business and media decisions.

Partner with account teams and sales development managers to incorporate insights into presentations.

Analyze data to identify new opportunities, quantify business impact and justify marketing investment.

Advise clients and sales team on brand measurement and search performance best practices. Partner with sales teams to prepare for Fall TV / Summer Blockbuster planning

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities: Run reports in excel and from internal tools, pulling & organizing data and analyzing it to determine trends and opportunities Write & run consumer surveys via internal tools, then organize & interpret the results Aggregate advertiser campaign performance data into reporting templates and share with clients

Required Skills:

  • Education: Bachelors Degree - Manager is open to area of study
  • 2+ years in Marketing Analytics, Data Analysis or similar fields
  • Deep experience with Excel and Powerpoint
  • Project Management experience
  • Problem solving / Analytical mindset
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

Nice to Have Skills/Not Required:

  • SQL code and queries (or similar)
  • Familiarity with Google AdWords
  • Familiarity with Digital Advertising
