Position Title: Manager Financial Analysis/Controlling

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Summary of Duties:

Responsible for anticipating business issues, formulating analytical financial problems, and devising actionable strategic recommendations with corroborating financial analysis. Plays a pivotal role in the management of GLOBALFOUNDRIES profitability through collaboration with the Global Sales and Marketing, Central Planning, and worldwide manufacturing centers. Keeps Senior management informed on key financial metrics and works to improve financial operation practices throughout the regions. Uses data to inform business and product decisions across the company. Uses technical skills, business acumen, and creativity to build tools to automate reporting and generate insight that allows clients to quickly and accurately see how key business products and processes are performing. Responsible for projects from inception to delivery, ensuring that reporting delivers high quality and relevant data to intelligently grow our business. Collaborates with and manages cross-functional teams (Sales, Accounting, Operations, Strategy, Central Planning, etc.) to provide end-to-end financial support. Provides executive management with clear insights into drivers of business and financial performance and risk; assesses business/market opportunities and inform/recommend prioritization decisions. Maintains and enhance complex financial models used for profitability analysis and corporate strategic planning. Conducts significant ad-hoc analysis to ensure the best corporate decisions are made to achieve operational and financial objectives. Partners with business users to define the data and system requirements necessary to implement improved analytical tools for Finance and provide technical input throughout the design, development and implementation of data and reporting tools. Acts as a business liaison between the finance, operations, IT and development groups to work out and implement enhancements to business processes. Develops, maintains, and enhances management reports using multiple reporting tools, including HFM, Essbase, TM1. Oversees all aspects of the budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting processes and ensure accuracy and predictability of results and key metrics. Develops and maintains Profit and Loss. Drives professional development of team members by providing significant opportunities and coaching on how to effectively support senior business partners and enable them to excel in the global Finance organization. Position will supervise three employees.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related Technology or Engineering field of study plus eleven (11) years of experience in the job offered or as a Financial Analyst, Engineer, or related role involving Corporate financial planning, strategic finance, or supply chain management. Alternately will accept a Master's degree in the fields listed above plus ten (10) years of experience. Must possess experience managing finance systems projects, including providing business intelligence and data driven insight through reporting. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and google software (Sheets, Slides, Docs), Hyperion Essbase, HFM, IBM TM1, and Oracle. Must possess strong problem solving ability combined with impeccable business judgment and ability to communicate clearly and influence leadership teams. Knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures including manufacturing planning, demand, and replenishment processes. Proficiency in structure of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Strong analytical and modeling skills and project management experience required. Must be organized, strategically focused, detail oriented. Requires team-based leadership skills, ability to work across global locations in matrix role, and build effective cross-functional relationships at multiple levels. Extensive knowledge of semiconductor industry, supply chain, and related production processes, including knowledge of MES systems. Must possess a high proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google for work.
